2. Sign up for access to the
Money Tree Challenge Forum which is up and
running now, but you won't be able to view until
you are a Money Tree Challenge toolkit
owner. Once on the forum and in advance of
the official launch, you'll be able to introduce
yourself to others and discuss tactics in
advance. Michael Green drops by there too and
will provide updates about the product in the
private members only forum.
3. Again, once you've purchased you'll receive
updates from Michael Green via email, on the
forum and in the membership area about small
preparatory steps that you might like to take in
advance of taking ownership of the Money Tree
Challenge.
Perhaps most
important of all,
getting your copy now guarantees you ownership
of this toolkit. Something which cannot be
guaranteed otherwise as we do pull products off the
market, rather than allowing them to saturate it
(see
http://www.StinkingRichTwo.com and
http://www.StinkingRich3.com as examples of
withdrawn products).
How is this toolkit different from The 20/20
Challenge?
In
a sense the Money Tree Challenge picks up
where The 20/20 Challenge left off. There are of
course similarities between the two packages, but
one of the principle things that make the Money
Tree Challenge so different is that it comes
with so many bundled products built in.
The included products are high quality digital
downloadable programs, scripts, tools and ebooks
some of which are worth more than the current low
retail price for the entire Money Tree Challenge
system.
So
in a sense... even if you didn't make a penny out of
the Money Tree Challenge (perhaps because you
bought it and then never got round to putting it
into action), you still couldn't lose out because
you'd own 101 online products (or 121 if you
purchase during the special offer period or even 200
if you purchase the GOLD upgrade).
In
addition to the extra products that come bundled
with the Money Tree Challenge the web and
therefore internet marketing has moved on over the
past year. This means that there are new techniques
to be employed in building your business. The
Money Tree Challenge manual therefore covers so
called Web 2.0 and in particular marketing through
social networking, which is not included in The
20/20 Challenge.
Finally the Money Tree Challenge seeks to
tackle some of the user comments from The 20/20
Challenge, including how to more effectively build
up an email list and find Joint Venture Partners
without doing all the hard work yourself.
Is this a program for beginners and what skill level is necessary
to complete it?
As with most my
toolkits I've tried to create the Money Tree
Challenge with both the beginner, intermediate
and advanced user in mind.
In order to
achieve this balance I don't simply assume knowledge
that may not be available to a newbie, instead I
always take the time to explain each subject and/or
provide reference material in order that the owner
can find out more.
Needless to say
if someone is approaching the Money Tree
Challenge as a complete newbie to the internet
marketing (or perhaps the computers and the internet
itself), then they will naturally need to spend more
time on each section (or day) of the challenge.
My recommendation
if you're a newbie or of intermediate skill level is
to simply extend out each of the 30 days to last a
time scale which is applicable to your personal
circumstances. So, for example, a complete newbie
might decide that a day is in fact an entire week.
Or someone of intermediate skills might decide to
allow each day of the time table to extend for 2 or
3 days. Obviously the overall time taken to complete
the Money Tree Challenge will be extended,
but the process will not only then hopefully
generate the income target, but will have the added
benefit of teaching the marketer a whole bunch of
new skills that will stay with them for life!
Are all of the 101 products offered in the Internet
Marketing niche?
Absolutely not!
Naturally since the Money Tree Challenge is
of primary interest to internet marketers quite a
lot of the 101 included products (121 if you
purchase during the special offer period) are on
marketing related subjects, but there are quite
literally dozens which are in many other areas of
interest.
Included amongst
the product range are ebooks, scripts and programs
on a very wide variety of subjects including;
lifestyle, general business, hobbies and other
interests -- in fact you name it and it's probably
there.
The idea behind
the Money Tree Challenge is to provide the
tools for someone wanting to make money online and
there's no reason at all why that should be by
simply selling marketing materials to other people.
In fact I'd go as far as to say that the most
successful online marketers appeal to many different
sectors. Some of my best selling products are
related to
corporate business and
lifestyle and I would strongly recommend working
with a product which goes beyond the usual internet
marketing sphere.
I don't have a website. How will the Money Tree Challenge
offer help me?
In order to
succeed with the Money Tree Challenge you're
not required to own a website, domain name or
anything else up front. You will however have
created at least one by the time you've completed
your Challenge.
If you're
starting from scratch as a complete newbie then you
need to appreciate that you're unlikely to be able
to complete your Money Tree Challenge in just
30 days. You're going to need to learn to do quite a
lot of things, including registering domain names,
building a website (don't worry, it's no harder than
writing a letter in Word for example) and
understanding how to FTP your new website to a
server.
Now don't worry
if that all sounds like double-dutch because
comprehensive help is available both in the Money
Tree Challenge manual and on the Money Tree
Challenge Forum where you'll find a bunch of
like-minded people and even a special place to post
questions as a complete newbie. Finally my
help desk
is always available for you to seek individualized
assistance too.
To conclude, you
certainly don't need a website in advance of
undertaking the Money Tree Challenge, but you
should remain realistic about the time scale if
you're going to start from a very low knowledge
base. Fortunately the Money Tree Challenge
manual doesn't assume you know it all already and
the support with this program is simple second to
none.
Will the 101 products included with the Money Tree
Challenge run on a Mac?
The techniques
that you'll learn in the Money Tree Challenge
are not platform specific. In other words they apply
every bit as much regardless of whether you're using
a PC, Mac, Linux or any other operating system.
When it comes to
the 101 products that come with this toolkit (121 if
you buy during the special period) you'll find that
a small number are only PC compatible. However
virtually all the ebook products (which are some of
my favorite) are cross platform as they're usually
in the universal PDF format and all of the
programming scripts included for you to own and sell
are cross-platform as they're installed on your
webserver, rather than your desktop computer.
So the Money
Tree Challenge is both meant for someone using a
MAC just as much as a PC and you'll find plenty of
the very many products that are bundled with the
toolkit work absolutely fine on MACs too.
Lastly, please
don't lose sight of the fact that you'll be
undertaking the Money Tree Challenge primarily
in order to sell products to make money, rather than
necessarily to use them yourself and in this regard
you would want to buy plenty of products which work
with Windows since it is by far the most used
operating system around.
Is the product digital or are some items physical
like the manual or checklist?
In common with
most the whole current 'How To' product range, the
Money Tree Challenge is a product to be
digitally downloaded.
The actual
toolkit is delivered over the internet for you to
download immediately (unless you're purchasing
during a pre-launch period). It means that you get
continuous access to all the updates and anything
new that I post. In fact you'll be able to access
all upgrades for life using the login and password
that you'll set up.
Having said that
the entire toolkit is delivered via digital
download, many people do choose to then print out
the manual and some folk even take it down to their
nearest copy shop and ask Kinkos or whoever to bind
it for them. It can then physically sit on your desk
for easy reference.
Either way the
convenience of digital delivery is hard to beat,
because it means that you're able to receive the
updates that I always include with my toolkits,
without any further cost.
I live in a country which doesn't accept PayPal.
Will this system still work for me?
There are really
two issues here.
First, I happen
to sell the Money Tree Challenge using
PayPal, so purchasing the actual toolkit may cause a
problem. Since PayPal do allow credit card
payments, the first thing to try is simply
proceeding with the purchase by clicking on the
PayPal Pay Now button at the foot of
this page and seeing if you can proceed using
your credit card on the left hand side of the next
page where it invites credit card (rather than
PayPal account) payments.
If this doesn't
work then you can still purchase my toolkit via
credit card, but you'll need to send a request to my
help desk
for instructions on how to provide your credit card
details for me to process your transaction manually.
Send that request by completing a help desk ticket
here.
The Second issue
is regarding whether or not the system described in
the Money Tree Challenge relies on you being
able to sell products via PayPal? The answer
to this is no. You can use any payment system to
achieve the same objectives of marketing products
online and being paid for them.
It should be said
that merely for the sake of convenience, I do in
places describe setting up 'Buy Now' buttons in
PayPal, but you can simply substitute these
instructions for a payment processor that works in
your country. Some useful alternatives to PayPal can
be found
here
and
here. Google searches will also reveal many
useful alternatives.
I don't have a credit card, can I still buy the
Money Tree Challenge?
Yes. You can pay
for my products by International Money Order (IMO).
These are available from your Post Office and should
be made out in US Dollars. Please follow these
instructions:
1. Make out your IMO to HowToCorp
2. Your IMO must be in US Dollars.
3. Mail your IMO to:
Michael Green, HowToCorp, 326 Main Street Pittsburgh
PA 15201 USA
Please clearly
state which of
my products you are purchasing -- in this case
the Money Tree Challenge.
How much will the Money Tree Challenge cost
me other than the purchase price?
Online marketing
is actually an amazingly inexpensive pursuit, but
there will be just a few things you'll need apart
from my toolkit.
The first thing is a domain name (less than $9.99
with a reliable host like
GoDaddy)
and some webspace which is typically about $3.86 per
month (again with
GoDaddy).
To complete your Money Tree Challenge you may
well want to register more than one domain (because
every product you sell should be on it's own
domain), though you can use sub-domains instead to
do it on the cheap.
You're also going to require some spare cash in
order to do two things:
1. Hire some outside help from freelance sites
(unless you want to do everything yourself which
will almost inevitably extend your Money Tree
Challenge schedule which you may decide does not
matter).
2.Possibly kick-start your marketing (though I
recommend you severely limit any paid for promotion
to little more than test marketing). Think of this
as simply throwing down some fertilizer as your
money tree in order to see it start to grow!
In total you should therefore put aside a further
$50 to $100 for this project. You won't need all
that money on day one and either way you'll be
enjoying playing with more than 100+ new products,
so you can always delay starting your own Money
Tree Challenge start date while you get some
additional cash together, but don't delay it for too
long.
You refer to using freelance websites. What for?
Essentially I recommend using freelance sites for a
variety of purposes. First of all to help with
packaging and design (because products need to look
really good to sell online) and secondly to assist
with rebranding or creation of the product that you
will actually sell (so this is more of a technical
programming freelancer). Lastly, I've also now found
that freelance sites can be very useful in terms of
helping to develop significant numbers of
appropriate Joint Venture Partners.
Much more on all of this inside the Money Tree
Challenge, including which freelance sites I
personally recommend for each activity.
How long should the Money Tree Challenge take
for a (newbie/intermediate/advanced)
individual?
|
Newbie |
Intermediate |
Advanced |
|
You would be fairly new to computers or at a
relatively low level of skill.
Your knowledge of internet marketing is just
starting to develop. You won’t have sold
your own product previously and may not have
produced a website at all.
Skills such as creating HTML or FTPing are
new to you.
But of course you’re keen to learn.
|
You understand using a computer, but you
wouldn’t class yourself as an expert.
You level of internet marketing knowledge is
somewhere in-between. Perhaps you’ve carried
out some online marketing and made a few
sales via affiliate marketing, or even your
own product, but you’re yet to experience
the big time success that you know is
available for those who are successful.
You have also created the occasional web
page and understand how to FTP files around
and set up a website, even if you haven’t
necessarily done it much. |
You’ve been involved in online marketing
already and may have experienced some
success.
You understand computers and there’s nothing
special to you about setting up a website
because HTMLing and FTPing are easy for you.
Your general level of computer knowledge and
internet marketing expertise means that what
you really lack is just a system to pull the
whole thing together. |
Now depending on where you are
within the table above (and you mght be in-between,
for example an intermediate/advanced, etc) the
amount of time that it takes you to complete the
Money Tree Challenge will vary.
If you’re an advanced
owner -- as defined in the table above -– then stick
with the 30 day time table.
If you’re an intermediate
owner – as defined in the table above – then some
of the days in this program can be completed exactly
to the schedule outlined, but on other occasions
you’ll want to allow a day to last 2 or 3 days in
reality. This is easily done by simply acknowledging
that what is being asked of you is slightly beyond
your immediate knowledge and so you’ll decide to
make the strategic decision to learn about it as you
proceed. A realistic time table for you might be 45
to 70 days to complete the challenge, though you
might simply work a little harder and longer and
still come in nearer to the 30 day program.
If you’re a newbie owner –
as defined in the table above – then you not only
need to carry out the steps outlined in the Money
Tree Challenge but you’ll also be using this
program to come up to speed on your general internet
marketing knowledge, as well as learning about
computers and the internet more generally at the
same time. If this is you then great! Please don’t
panic. There’s absolutely nothing in this program
which you cannot achieve, it’s just that you need to
be realistic about the timings.
Where instructions on a specific
day might say; ‘Today I need you to FTP your
files to your server’ but at the moment this is
a complete mystery to you, then you’re obviously
going to need to stop and take time out to work out
how to go about that day’s activity. But please
don’t worry, because I’ve gone to extraordinary
lengths to ensure that all the additional supporting
information you need to complete the challenge is
incorporated in the toolkit.
In other words, using the example
above, I’ve linked to third-party resources which
will show you how to go about FTPing (that’s simply
sending a file to your webserver) and so you’ll
learn these skills as you complete your Money
Tree Challenge. In terms of overall timing you
might decide that each day should in fact last you a
week, or order to get your head completely around
each step. I doubt that in reality anyone would
actually require a week for every single step, but
there will be some days when this is what is
required and so please don’t feel bad about the
program taking longer for you because you’re going
to get so much out of the process it will surpass
even the immediate benefit of growing your own
virtual money tree.
